Principled
Based Negotiations creates trust,
partnership and shared understanding between team members, so that the
team can effectively negotiate in various situations and contexts. Great
negotiators produce great results. They know how to prepare and how to
manage the negotiation process for all parties. Our MCS For individuals, MCS’s Principled-Based Negotiations creates breakthroughs in their approach to negotiations. For a company, the course furnishes a radical new way to do business. The consequences are superior negotiated results and greater business success. Successful negotiation involves much more than just knowing what to ask for. MCS’s Principled-Based Negotiations model includes building and maintaining powerful, rewarding, long-term, strategic alliances. MCS’s Principled-Based Negotiations provides a clear step-by-step process, along with the communication skills necessary to be successful at using that process. MCS’s Principled-Based Negotiations is typically delivered in 3 or 4.5 consecutive days to a group of up to 12 participants. This course helps participants develop their negotiation capabilities so that they may produce wise and profitable agreements. How to handle conflict situations and keep the relationship in place is addressed using our 7-step model for negotiating. This 7-step model was built on extensive research and modeling of top negotiators. Each participant's awareness will increase as to where they are inside any negotiation. We will review all the aggressive negotiator tactics so that they become obvious along with simple responses that bring any negotiation back to a Behavior-Based negotiation. The 7-step model can be used in situations ranging from running a meeting to creating a collective bargaining agreement.
