how many leaders, supervisors and individuals have been influenced by
information gathered in a manner that reinforced their false assumptions
rather than being told the truth. The honest input from others can
overcome false self-perceptions, ignorance and blind spots. Candid
feedback from others may save Behavior-Based Coaching gives leaders behavioral feedback about their performance they otherwise may never hear. This assessment focuses on performance skills and behavioral traits. It provides feedback in an open and non-threatening manner through the utilization of multi-source 360° feedback reports. Follow-up to the assessment involves an action plan, support activities and specific job performance coaching. Today's business and economic climate dictates that individuals, and organizations, be flexible and respond rapidly to changing demands. For effective change to occur, leaders and organizations need to know what to change as well as how to change. Leaders need to know which of their behaviors to alter and what parts of the internal environment need adjusting. The Behavior-Based Coaching model is at it’s foundation a partnering model. Participant learn how to assist another person to want to change and provides them with tools that will show them how to change. It also provides a process for support and ongoing feedback.
